My parents made sure that I was raised with the principle of “respecting my elders”. That wasn’t just limited to my blood relatives, but all elders. It turns out that it wasn’t just something my parents pulled out of thin air…it’s Biblical.

Leviticus 19:32 (NKJV) – “You shall [a]rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord.”

Thankfully, these young men in Bronson, FL seem to have also received the same “home training” I received, and they are putting those principles into action, without regard to such superficial and inconsequential things as ethnicity, or the false construct of “race”.

This #UAmoment was captured on video by Kanesha Carnegie, who works for the Levy County Sheriff’s Office in Bronson, FL.
