Free to Choose: Black Trump Supporter vs. #BlackLivesMatter

Christopher Harris

I recently saw a video where a Black Man at a Donald Trump Rally in St. Louis was accosted by a couple of #BlackLivesMatter Protestors, because of his support for Trump.

Anyone who knows me, knows where I stand, and why I stand where I stand, knows that I’m not a Trump supporter. I don’t hate the man, I just don’t support him because I have never heard him speak in support of the principles that I hold near and dear.

It was investing the time to actually read our Constitution, which is built on the framework of our Declaration of Independence (read that too), which stands on the foundation of the Holy Bible (yep, read that also), that compelled me to become “A Conservative”. Once I fully realized that I was “Free to Choose”, I chose to stand for Unalienable Rights (Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness), point blank, period, end of story. So, anyone who truly understands the principles of Unalienable Rights, knows why I loathe everything that these “African-Americans” are saying to this Black Man.

I disagree with him on his support for Trump, but I have little more than a blank stare and a strong desire to make a rude gesture (but I usually fight that desire) as a response to the type of Pro-Blackety-Black, Marxist-minded “African-Americans” who are berating that Black Man, and trying to shame him into returning to the plantation, and re-joining the collective hive-mind of Leftist/Regressive/Socialist ideology, and “African-American” culture.

My Bible tells me in Matthew 7:15-20 (NKJV) to be a “fruit inspector”. It specifically says, 15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Any good “fruit inspector” would take notice of the “fruit” of the culture of “African-Americanism”, which these #BlackLivesMatter folks are espousing, and have to come to the conclusion that the tree itself is rotten to the core.

Back in 1984, roughly 20 years after the implementation of President Lyndon Johnson’s (D)  “Great Society” as Public Policy, Thomas Sowell spoke candidly about the simple fact that “Culture Matters”. He provided ample data to show that there is a reason why certain cultures dramatically under-perform. Now that was 32 years ago. So today, we have 50+ years of empirical data to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Leftist ideology as Public Policy has created the wretched and wicked culture of “African-Americanism”. We have seen a once proud community of overcomers, turned into a pitiful community of perpetually aggrieved people with a massive inferiority complex, and a terrible sense of entitlement. The shame is, we were stronger (mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) when we were dealing with blatant racism. That resistance made us stronger, just as resistance training (lifting weights) naturally makes you stronger. It makes micro-fiber tears in the muscles, and overnight your body works to repair that torn muscle, so that next time it can’t be torn by the exact same level of resistance.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m certainly not longing for a return to the days or slavery or Jim Crow. But you have to realize that Leftist Democrats came to the conclusion that instead of fighting us, and trying to hold us down…it makes more sense to simply start giving us things. President Johnson is allegedly quoted as saying, “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days, and that’s a problem for us, since they’ve got something now they never had before: the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this — we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.”  Well, for the past 50+ years, they’ve given us just enough to keep us fat, dummy, and happy.
Wall-E - Fat People

The 1974 movie, “Claudine”, starring James Earl Jones, and Diahann Carroll gave a perfect representation of exactly how Leftist ideology leads to destruction when it becomes Public Policy. Whether by design, or simply an unintended consequence, the Democrat created welfare system that these #BLM protesters are supporting is exactly the reason why the Black community is in the condition its in. It’s like having a log home, and they are cheering for the termites, and telling him to stop trying to kill the termites.

This system that they support has created a culture that encourages the disintegration of the souls of Black folks. This system gives our women just enough to convince them that they don’t need a husband or a father for their kids, because Big Government will be their husband and father. This system subsequently creates an environment where our men no longer feel that we are necessary or needed for anything more than a tool to “scratch the occasional itch”, and the haphazard spreading of their sperm. Cities like Chicago, Detroit, Camden NJ, and Baltimore are perfect examples of what these Marxist-minded “African-Americans” are trying to convince this Black Man that he should cross back over to “the dark side” and continue to support.

I might disagree with this Black Man in his support of Donald Trump for President, but as another American Black Man, I can respect the heck out of his willingness to stand strong against the onslaught from the #BLM crowd. I respect the fact that he has ran away from the plantation, tasted freedom, and has no desire to go back to mental, emotional, and spiritual servitude. I respect the heck out of his espoused desire to simply be able to be his own man, exercise his Unalienable Rights, and win or lose based on his own merit.

I hope my chosen candidate beats his chosen candidate in the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary, but I salute any other American Black Man who is willing and able to fight off the collective hive-mind of Leftist/Regressive/Socialist ideology, and “African-American” culture. Most non-Blacks will never understand the will-power and strength of conviction that takes.

I salue you my friend
