Free People. Free Markets.

H. Upchurch

Freedom is the absence of coercion. In the United States, this means that you are free to do anything that you choose to do as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of others.

Threats to our freedom come in many forms. We often think of that in terms of outside forces –  enemies of the American way of life who want to do us harm. We must come to understand it in more subtle ways as well. It is disguised as social justice. It is disguised as free education. It is disguised as free healthcare. The truth is nothing is free – especially not freedom. So, we must continue to fight. We must fight against the enemies of freedom – both external and internal.

There is nobody that can explain this better than Thomas Sowell. So, I shall defer to him.
