Middle School Principal says that the Student Government is “Too White”.

Christopher Harris

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

Those are the words (allegedly) spoken by one of the biggest mass murderers of all time, Joseph (Josef) Stalin. In case you never heard of him (which is highly likely, given the state of “education” in American today), he was the General secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Essentially, he was the Dictator.

What does that have to do with a middle school student government election? I’m glad you asked. As I’ve discussed in a previous article, if you understand the political spectrum, you will understand that it’s all about Freedom vs. Tyranny.

Political-Spectrum-of-Founders

So the further Left someone is on the political spectrum, the more they desire power and control over their fellow man.  It’s a well known fact that the overwhelming majority of people who are in positions of power and influence within the “Educational Industrial Complex” are hardcore Leftist/Regressive/Socialist minded people. When you study history, it becomes evident that you would be hard-pressed to get much more Leftist than Josef Stalin. Understanding the minds of Leftist like I do, it came as little-to-no surprise when I heard that Lena Van Haren, the Principal of Everett Middle School, in San Francisco, CA, pulled a rather Stalinesque move herself. Much like Stalin holding “elections”, Principal Van Haren decided to nullify the democratic elections by the student body, for who will represent them in the student government…because she didn’t like the results.

Election - Everett Middle School

According to the San Francisco Gate:

While there was some diversity among the 10 winners, no English learners were elected, even though they make up about a third of enrollment. African American and Latino students were underrepresented, while white, Asian and mixed-race students, who are in the minority at the school, took the top four spots.

And according to Principal Van Haren herself:

“It’s not OK for a school that is really, really diverse to have the student representatives majority white. The easy thing would have been to announce the results and move on. I intentionally did not choose the easy way because this is so important.”

The election was held on October 10th, but the results weren’t released, because Principal Van Haren didn’t like the lack of “diversity” in the results.  Sebastian Kaplan, who ran to represent his seventh grade class, was deeply disappointed, and told KRON Channel 4 News,  “The whole school voted for those people, so it is not like people rigged the game, but in a way, now it is kinda being rigged.”

Young Mr. Kaplan also said, “I wanted to get more involved and change some things,” and, “I feel like it is disrespectful to all the people who were running.” He went on to say, “The organizers are saying things like, ‘we want everyone’s voice to be heard,’ but in truth, the voters’ voices are not being heard.” And finally, Mr. Kaplan said. “Most kids are in agreement that the results need to come out because kids worked really hard on it.”

Granted, we are not talking about the formation of a new country, and we aren’t talking about voting for who is going to be our representative on the world stage, or who will be the Commander-in-Chief, but there is just something wrong with this whole thing. I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe her heart was (possibly) in the right place, and she wanted to make sure things were truly representative, but was it really her place to take things to the extent of nullifying the elections?

Malibus Most Wanted - Dont Be Hatin

Oh how I would love to talk with young Mr. Kaplan, because right about now, he is ripe for some in-depth studying of our nations Declaration of Independence. I’m sure that he will have little-to-no trouble seeing the parallels between the plight of the students at Everett Middle School, and our nations Founding Fathers and framers. She may have just helped to create a Young Conservative.

In the meanwhile, c’mon Principal Van Haren…stop hatin’ on the White Boys!!
