It IS my business!

Leslie Brown

Historically, the United States has been largely built by small businesses and entrepreneurs..yeah they DID build that Obama.

Well this little cutie hasn’t gotten jaded or discouraged by regulations, taxation and red-tape…yet. Youth, aw, innocent youth…

Asia Newson is a Detroit native; talk about a city needing growth. The eleven year old CEO of her own business, sells notebooks, homemade candles and mugs. What would most eleven year olds do with their profits? Hellooo video games, toys, candy etc.

Instead of spending her profits on herself, Asia puts all of her profit towards buying clothes and food for those in need.

Dave Anderson, an entrepreneur “incubator” in Detroit was so impressed with Asia that he provided her some office space and internet capabilities. Asia’s next project is to give talks to other youngsters and inspire them to become entrepreneurs themselves and take responsibility for both their actions and achievements.

Hopefully we can take back the reigns of our country so that more “Asia’s” can profit and live the American dream. One taxes what one wants less of, and subsidizes what one wants more of. Currently, our nation subsidizes sloth and promiscuity, and penalizes industry and hard work.

“We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.”

― Winston S. Churchill

Without ever meeting them, I can tell you Asia has some awesome parents!
