“America is no longer a Christian nation”~Barack Obama

Leslie Brown

The signs were all there; we chose not to see. The words were all there; we chose not to listen. The opportunity was there; we chose not to speak.

Have we lost all opportunity to reclaim our great nation? I don’t know the answer to that; only G-d does, but do know I will not quit fighting, I know, I will not shut-up, I know, I will not stop trusting in G-d.

We deserve everything we have gotten America. Have you ever once hear Obama say that he loves the Lord and His statutes? Have you ever once heard Obama talk about America Exceptionalism? Have you ever once heard how much he loves our country?

He has said “America is no longer a Christian nation”. He has said that, “The United States is one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.”

Quotes below are all from President Obama:

#1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam” (aaaand we paid $70,000 to air a commercial denouncing the infamous Benghazi video.)

#2 “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer” (It sure ain’t the Constitution being read.)

#3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.” (Yeah, it really SHAPED the landscape of Manhattan in particular.)

#4 “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.” (He has paid a lot of “debt” to Islam in the form of weapons and foreign aid.)

#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.” (Unless you are NOT a Muslim, that is.)

#6 “Islam has always been part of America” (Hmm, I’m thinking there are no Muslims signers of the Constitution. Just sayin’.)

#7 “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities” (Only if they are “jonesing” a beheading or wearing a hijab.)

#8 “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.” (I’m thinking dignity is kinda LOST when genitalia are mutilated, and robbed from the children and livestock who are raped.)

#9 “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and
share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”
(Sharia is incompatible with both common law, and our Constitution.)

#10 “I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.” (I can’t argue with the man there….we fund them!)

Because I share with the Jewish Tea Party, I do it out of respect for them thanks!

He did it out of respect for his Jewish readers, like myself. The name of G-d is so holy to us that we are careful not to desecrate even in print. When our Torah scrolls and siddurim are worn we give them to the rabbis for proper. We, as Jews, know G-d is great and that is why we go through this and many other procedures as a demonstration of our reverence for him.

Thank you sir! Leslie Ann Brown

Tony, thank you for making that clear. At first I didn’t know why my Jewish FB Friends wrote G-D on their posts. Now I fully understand that it is out of reverence for G-D!! I thought it was a type of ‘praise’ but knowing why some people write this on their posts, I feel as though I need to learn a great deal more about Jewish religion, culture, etc! Thanks again…Praying you and all of your loved ones are Blessed by G-D beyond measure!

  2. The problems within American society did not just start with this president. The reason why he was ever elected in the first place is that Christians and the church have bought into the lie that politics and religion do not mix. In fact, they do mix – the American Revolution would not have happened if it did not have the backing of America’s pastors, the largest “activist” group in the colonies. The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s also had the backing of many pastors – black and white – which is one of the reasons it was successful. Abolition is another cause where it was the nation’s pastors who led the strongest charges against slavery – and some even led companies of volunteers as their commander!

In reality, when Progressives sought to change this nation beginning in the 1890s, they understood the power of the pulpit as a powerful advocate of maintaining social tradition, dispensing of morality, and an element that trains the next generation of Americans. This is why when the Progressives began a rise to power in the 1950s and 1960s, their first target was to remove prayer from school, set up the argument of separation of church and state (before these decisions, the government acknowledgement of faith was never seen as an “endorsement”). In stead of pushing back, the churches and their leaders simply believed the lie.

Do Christians really want to push back? Sadly, the answer is no. IF they really did, we would be better organized, would make the most of social media, would demand that our political candidates reflect our values. When you sit back and do nothing, you will never achieve anything. I believe that our nation is now bound for God’s judgment.

Alan, thanks for taking the time to read and respond. I am not a follower of Glenn Beck, but I do listen to his radio show for 5-10 minutes on occasion. And has been saying a lot that, “The pulpits have gone silent.” and on that note, he is 100% correct. We are, where we are…because “The Church” has run away from it’s responsibility to SPEAK THE TRUTH!!

In reality America NEVER WAS a Christian nation.

    • Christopher Harris

If you mean, it was never a Theocracy…you are correct.
