Princess for a Day

If you were only eleven years old and had brain cancer, probably more than anything, you would wish you could just get away from your illness, if even for a little while.

Heroes n’ More is a group of grown-ups whose focus is entering into a character, so they in turn can transport kids away from their illness, by taking them away from thoughts of their illness, and into one special day of magic.

Heaven Sanchez got a knock at her door and when she opened it she received the surprise of a lifetime.

“Surprise!” yelled the group of princesses from Heroes N More.

“Hi beautiful, how are you? We have a special princess day planned just for you and we even brought you your own gown,” said a woman dressed as Princess Jasmine from “Aladdin.”

Heaven spent the day getting her nails painted and singing along with Pocahontas, Mulan, and Belle.

Instead of a horse and carriage, Heaven was driven around in a stretch limo.

Her day ended at the KSAT-12 studios where she took photos and danced with her prince charming.

I don’t know about you, but I think the adults in this video are having every bit as much fun as the kids. Maybe they too are able to set their worries and problems aside too, as they make it their goal to do the same for another.
