Has President Obama failed at Leadership?

Christopher Harris

Billy and Karen Vaughn, the parents of a U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. Team Six member, call for President Obama’s resignation in a searing open letter about his handling of ISIS. The letter was published via the World Tribune.

SEAL Team Six was the previously secret Special Ops unit that gained unwanted notoriety when they were unnecessarily identified by this President as the unit responsible for killing the most wanted man in the world, Osama Bin Laden.  Their only son, Aaron Carson Vaughn, was killed along with 32 other Special Ops Warriors, when a Chinook helicopter was gunned down in Afghanistan back on August 6, 2011.

The scathing letter states:
“As Commander-in-Chief, your actions – or lack thereof – Mr President, cost lives.”

It goes on to say that, “As you bumble about in your golf cart, slapping on a happy face and fist-pounding your buddies, your COWARDLY LACK OF LEADERSHIP (emphasis added by UA) has left a gaping hole — not only in America’s security — but the security of the entire globe. Your message has come across loud and clear, sir: You are not up to this job. You know it. We know it. The world knows it.”

They ended by saying “You, sir, are the JV team. It’s time for you to step down and allow a true leader to restore our honor and protect our sons and daughters.

America has always been exceptional. And she will be again. You, Mr. President, are a bump in our road.”

Imagine how differently things would look in the world if the United States of America had a Commander-in-Chief, who understood, and believed in the “Ten Commandments of Special Warfare”, and followed rule #1.
