Can “Mother Earth” still provide?

Christopher Harris

There is a book that I like to read every now and then (nightly), and the author is a pretty well respected “environmentalist”. In that book he said, “Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11). And then later on in that same chapter, the author said that there would be a sign “a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud” (Genesis 9:14) to prove he was right. But then the author goes on to give us some more assurances on the validity of his findings and tell us, “that between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.” (Genesis 9:15).

Now I have checked out this author and “environmentalist extraordinaire”, and I have learned that he is very credible. So when I look in the headlines, and I see stuff like this,“Earth is in overdraft just EIGHT months into the year: We’ve now exhausted our natural budget for land, trees and food, warn campaigners” you’ll have to excuse me for being a wee-bit skeptical.

You see, I have learned that as soon as someone identifies themselves as a Leftist/Regressive/Socialist minded person…then that is your cue to pretty much disregard virtually everything they have to say on issues like this.

The simple fact of the matter is…Leftist minded people have perpetrated one of the greatest frauds in the history of mankind when it comes to “the environment”…and they have done it all for the sole purpose of pushing forward their agenda.Their concern has never been, and will never be for the well-being of mankind, and especially not for the well-being of this great creation called Earth. Their goal has always been, and will always be, to obtain total control and power over their fellow man.

See, now they have created ANOTHER special day to put on your calendar to confuse you. Now to help further and draw attention to their agenda, they have created “Earth Overshoot Day”.

WHAT IS EARTH OVERSHOOT DAY?

Also known as Ecological Debt Day, this year, Earth Overshoot Day is on the 19th of August.

In fewer than eight months, people use more natural resources than the planet is able to produce in a 12 month period.

For the remainder of 2014, we will be living on resources borrowed from future generations, scientists claim.

It is calculated by dividing the world’s biocapacity – the amount of natural resources generated by the planet that year – by humanity’s natural consumption of Earth’s resources for 12 months.

It is then multiplied by 365, the number of days in a year.

The concept for Earth Overshoot Day was created by Andrew Simms, climate economist at Global Witness, a London-based think tank.

When I see stuff like that, knowing what I know about the ultimate goals of Leftist/Regressive/Socialist minded people, I find myself immediately asking them, “So how many people do you want to kill…in order to bring ‘balance’ back to ‘Mother Earth’?”

Earth Overshoot Day - UA edit

Make no mistake about it…we are doing a sub-par job of being caretakers for the home that God created for us, and gave us dominion over (Genesis 1:28).

Black Adam & Eve

But don’t get it twisted…this earth is not going anywhere anytime soon…and neither are we. I trust in the word of the original “environmentalist” before I trust anything that a Leftist has to say about “the environment”. We have to be better stewards of God’s Creation, especially the United States of America…but following the advice of crazy Leftist/Regressive/Socialist minded “environmentalist” is not the answer.
