Don’t give up on your childhood dreams!

Dreaming as a kid - UA edit
Christopher Harris

A survey by Barclays Bank has found that two in five people (out of a study of 2,185 people) don’t feel they’ve fulfilled the ambitions for adult life they had as a child.

Remember, what makes life worth living, outside of having friends and family that you love, is being IN THE PURSUIT of SUCCESS. It’s been said that “SUCCESS” is quite simply the progressive realization of a worthwhile dream or goal. So as long as you have a dream or goal that you have written down, and you are steadily taking steps towards achieving it, you are A SUCCESS.

Ever since I was six years old, all I ever wanted to do was being a Fighter-Pilot (and eventually a 4-Star General) in the U.S. Air Force.

Circumstances beyond my control kept that particular childhood dream from being a possibility, but I have still always wanted to fly. Well, 20+ years later, on my 40th birthday, my wonderful wife helped to make a portion of that dream come true.

Now ask yourself, “What dreams from my childhood have I given up on?” An Unhyphenated America is a LAND OF OPPORTUNITY. Many of the things we all enjoy today as part of our daily life all began in the heart and mind of someone else. Someone had a dream or a goal that they would not let go of, and because of their relentless pursuit of that dream, life is better for many other people. The best thing you can do for yourself, and for America in general, is to get IN THE PURSUIT of your dreams and goals.
