Small Act with a Huge Impact

J. DuVal

Two wrestlers, both high school students, had quite a different experience during their first match together.

16-year-old Daniel Gil, a student with Down Syndrome, just wanted to wrestle. Only the right opponent, however, could handle that.

Check out the awesome story here, of how Daniel took down state champion Steven Giampapa on the mat, and how such a small act is really a pretty huge deal.

Check this one out from multiple sources: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/03/daniel-gill_n_2601614.html?utm_hp_ref=good-news(with video)  http://specialedpost.com/2013/02/05/wrestler-with-down-syndrome-takes-state-champ-to-the-mat/ (just story)
