WW2 Vet’s Home Vandalized…Local Marines to the Rescue

J. DuVal

93-year-old Albert Wood’s home was attacked. Returning from a Dr appointment, the war hero discovered that his home was robbed and badly damaged / vandalized.

Instantly, Marines came to help, thanks to a call from a local radio host.

Mr. Wood’s home will be repaired by the marines, including new carpet and furniture.

Watch the video here, to see this wonderful story of a community coming together for the sake of an elderly hero. http://www.click2houston.com/news/Marines-help-veteran-whose-home-was-vandalized/-/1735978/18240846/-/yofpopz/-/index.html

Sometimes our faith in mankind is restored through genuine acts of kindness and respect. Thank you, Marines…for everything.

You Marine's did something real good for mankind for Mr. Woods who fought for our freedom. The Major and his 20 guys we are proud of you spending your time and effort. And Mr. Berry too for organizing those wonderful contractors. God is in all your hearts. This story will go on for decades. i hope the vandals will show remorse and maybe the story will get even better, if the vandals learn about the Marines, watch WW2 videos, and maybe be asked to speak to troubled teens. that would be better than jail. assuming the teens are up to it. it bet their parents are hurt by all this too.
